Aurora (founded 1794-1796)
Aurora is home to both our business and our Family. Even before we established Millenium Shutters and Blinds in 1991, Gord (Owner) had been making shutters for Aurora clients’ for many years and thought it the perfect town for a new family business.
With proximity to highways leading to the GTA, Eastern and Western Ontario and Cottage Country, our Aurora location allows us to serve all of Southern Ontario with ease. Now, in response to customer demand from all regions of the GTA, we have expanded our services to include Cabinet Refinishing and Custom Furniture and Millwork.
Records from 1885 describe Aurora as the "largest village in the county" an "enterprising and stirring business community”, surely they were right as now Aurora boasts a population of over 55,000 people. We are proud to have our showroom and shop in such a place and to serve and enhance our community.
Aurora’s communities consist of The Hills of St. Andrew, Aurora Heights, Aurora Highlands, Aurora Village, Bayview Wellington, Aurora Grove, Aurora Estates, Bayview Northeast, Bayview Southeast and Rural Aurora.
The Town of Aurora offers residents and visitors a wide variety of things to see and do all year round. Beautiful parks and trails, museums, festivals, eateries, heritage sites and family friendly events make Aurora a truly enjoyable town.
